REGISTERING AND VOTING

Voting for the Budget Re-Vote will take place on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 from 6 AM-9 PM, at your local neighborhood elementary school (this is usually the school your child or your neighbor’s child attends). If you are uncertain about where you should be voting, you can visit https://nb.findmypollplace.com/valleystream13. If you are not sure whether you are registered to vote, please visit https://nb.findmypollplace.com/valleystream13/AmIRegistered. In both instances, you can also contact the Valley Stream UFSD 13 District Clerk at 516-568-6117 or by email at districtclerk@valleystream13.com. Applications for Absentee Ballots and Instructions are available.

There will be a PM registration on July 21, 2020 from 5 PM-9 PM at the James A. Dever School, Howell Road School, Wheeler Avenue School and Willow Road School. This is the last opportunity to register before the election.

Residents are encouraged to vote on the elementary and high school budgets, election of members to the Board of Education, and other propositions which come before the voters.

To be eligible to vote, a person must be a United States citizen, at least 18 years old, a resident of the school district for at least 30 days, and registered.
