The Valley Stream Union Free School District Thirteen would like to thank the Valley Stream 13 Educational Foundation for their generous donation of 3D printers to all four schools. A team of teachers from each building will begin learning how to operate the printers in April, then share this information with their colleagues. These teams will also work with our Model Schools trainer to develop problem-based projects which utilize the 3D printer in thoughtful and creative ways.
The District continues to seek opportunities that further develops its STEM curriculum—benefiting students as they learn to utilize emerging technologies like these 3D printers.
