This week the Wheeler Avenue Elementary School students in grades 1-3 participated in bowling activities in their physical education classes. The staff from Maple Lane Bowling Center in Rockville Centre presented the fundamentals of fun and safe bowling. Students learned aspects of fitness, safety, sportsmanship, bowling vocabulary and math skills that are needed to participate in the lifetime sport of bowling. A great time was had by all!
