James A. Dever Elementary School students recently celebrated Valentine’s Day by making valentines to send to veterans and active members of the United States Armed Forces as a part of the Valentines for Veterans program. Their thoughtful valentines shared messages of encouragement, thanks and love for what they do for the country. Town of Hempstead Councilmen Edward Ambrosino and Bruce Blakeman will now distribute these messages to veterans and the troops stationed overseas.
