(JANUARY 2023)— Students at Willow Road Elementary School in Valley Stream UFSD Thirteen teamed up with the world-famous Harlem Wizards for a PTA fundraiser The students and Wizard players participated in the PTA’s new WizFit Challenge fundraiser.
During the two-week Wizfit Challenge period, Willow Road students watched and participated in an exclusive series of six interactive video episodes led by Harlem Wizard stars Swoop and Broadway. Through this experience students engaged in interactive assemblies and Zoom visits while raising funds, students improved their physical well-being, engaged in fun activities to earn prizes, and received character-building coaching from the Wizard team members.
