Howell Road Elementary School hosted its annual Multicultural Night, an event that brought together students and families to celebrate diversity and embrace the many cultures represented within the school. The event was a vibrant showcase of the world’s rich traditions through food, music, and cultural activities.
The evening featured a variety of interactive stations where attendees had the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning and fun, such as origami stations where visitors learned the ancient Japanese art of paper folding and a photo booth section that allowed families to take memorable pictures and celebrate their cultural heritage.
As a special touch, the school’s fifth-grade students took on the role of cultural ambassadors, welcoming guests in multiple languages. Families enjoyed a delicious array of foods from various regions, giving everyone a chance to savor flavors from around the globe.
Howell Road Elementary School is committed to fostering an environment of inclusivity and understanding, and this year’s Multicultural Night was a true reflection of those values. The event was a resounding success, with participants leaving the school with a deeper appreciation for the cultures and traditions that make up the rich tapestry of the Howell Road community.
