James A. Dever Elementary School created a “Living Museum!” for the entire third grade. Students researched and studied various biographies of well-known individuals including Theodore Roosevelt, Albert Einstein, John Lennon, Barnum Brown and many others.
The students then dressed up as the person they studied and froze in a Mannequin Challenge-inspired position, representing their individual. When their “press here” button was pushed, they came alive and recited their memorized speech, then froze back into their original position upon completion.
