James A. Dever’s Heart-Healthy Habits

March 24, 2017

It’s that time of year again where all students at the James A. Dever School come together and celebrate the importance of heart-healthy habits. “Jump Rope for Heart” and “Hoops for Heart” are community service learning programs of the American Heart Association. Funds were raised by students and donated to the American Heart Association to support cardiovascular research and education to help save lives in our community and across the country. The event took place on Friday, March 17th. It was a huge success. Physical Education teachers, Carrie Lundgren and Peter Schwasnick, as well as Principal Darren Gruen, would like to thank all of the families for their overwhelming generosity and participation in this worthy cause.
