On Friday, April 28th, Police Officer Sharon Galvin from Nassau County Community Affairs Division came to talk to sixth graders at Wheeler about cyber-bullying. Officer Galvin stressed being an “upstander” instead of being a bystander and told the students not to be a silent victim- tell the bully to STOP, BLOCK the bully, and TELL a trusted adult.
