(JUNE 2022)—During the last days of June, Valley Stream UFSD Thirteen held its commencement ceremonies to congratulate the sixth-grade graduates of Willow Road Elementary School, Wheeler Avenue Elementary School, Howell Road Elementary School, and James A. Dever Elementary School.
“Congratulations to every graduating student. It was an honor to watch our students grow and expand their curiosity and love of learning throughout their elementary school journey,” said Dr. Judith LaRocca, Superintendent of Valley Stream UFSD Thirteen. “I am filled with admiration and gratitude for our students, families, and our staff. I know our students will have a successful transition to middle school and I cannot wait to see what their future brings.”
Frank Chiachiere, Ph.D., President of the Valley Stream UFSD Thirteen Board of Education along with Dr. LaRocca and other board members addressed the graduates and their families and friends at each of the ceremonies.
