Valley Stream UFSD Thirteen proudly hosted its annual Sweetheart Dance, bringing together students and families from all schools for a joyful evening celebrating Valentine’s Day. Sponsored by the district’s dedicated PTA organizations, the 2026 Sweetheart Dance was a heartwarming reminder of the Valley Stream community’s strength and spirit.
Held in a festive Valentine’s Day-themed setting adorned with red, pink, and white decorations, the Sweetheart Dance welcomed students and their loved ones for a night filled with laughter, dancing, and music. From classic favorites to today’s popular hits, the dance floor remained full as families shared special moments.
The evening featured music, photo opportunities, light refreshments, and plenty of smiles. Students beamed with excitement as they danced with parents, guardians, and friends, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime.
The success of the Sweetheart Dance would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of PTA members, school staff, and volunteers who worked together to plan and host the celebration. Their commitment to fostering community engagement and student connection was evident throughout the evening.
