The spirit of fall was in full swing at Valley Stream UFSD Thirteen. Students enjoyed the district’s beloved annual pumpkin patch event as they spent the day outside, soaked up the crisp fall air, celebrated the season, and selected their very own pumpkins to take home.
The event, held on school grounds, provided a festive outdoor experience for students across all grade levels. Smiles and laughter filled the air as children explored the patch, learned about pumpkins, and embraced the joys of the fall season.
“Our annual pumpkin patch is a wonderful tradition that brings our school community together,” said Valley Stream UFSD Thirteen Superintendent Dr. Judith LaRocca. “It gives students the chance to enjoy nature, celebrate the season, and create lasting memories with their classmates.”
The district extends a big thank you to the PTA for their hard work and dedication in organizing and supporting this event. Their efforts helped create a warm, welcoming, and memorable experience for all students and families. The Valley Stream UFSD Thirteen pumpkin patch continues to be a highlight of the fall season, celebrating community, togetherness, and the simple joys of childhood.
