Valley Stream UFSD Thirteen proudly celebrated elementary school students during a special moving-up ceremony, recognizing students’ hard work, growth, and accomplishments as they prepare to take the next step in their educational journey.
Families, teachers, administrators, and staff gathered to honor the students and mark this important milestone. The ceremony highlighted the achievements of the graduating elementary students and reflected on the many memories, lessons, and friendships formed throughout their years.
Students were recognized for their dedication, perseverance, and enthusiasm in the classroom and beyond. Throughout the ceremony, school leaders praised the students for their growth and encouraged them to continue striving for success as they transition to the next chapter of their academic careers.
The moving-up ceremony also served as an opportunity to thank the teachers, staff and families, whose support and guidance shaped the students’ elementary school experience. Their encouragement has played an important role in preparing students to embrace new opportunities ahead confidently.
“As our students move on to the next stage of their education, we celebrate not only their academic accomplishments, but also the kindness, resilience and character they have shown along the way,” said Dr. Judith LaRocca, Superintendent of Schools. “We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved and look forward to seeing all they will accomplish in the future.”
The ceremony concluded with smiles, applause and excitement as students officially marked the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. Valley Stream UFSD Thirteen extends its congratulations to all of its moving-up students and wishes them continued success in the years ahead.
