Wheeler Avenue Elementary School’s fifth grade class participated in a special lesson the day before the inauguration. The lesson was conducted through Discovery Education with a virtual class discussing the transition of power from a president to a president-elect. A presenter with Discovery Education spoke with students via webcam and gave an inside look at traditions of the White House transition. The fifth graders took notes on their Chrome Books and discussed the scheduled events during the six hour transition process.
