First-grade students from Willow Road Elementary School recently enjoyed a memorable and educational field trip to see a live performance of The Wizard of Oz.
The production brought the classic story to life on stage, captivating students with colorful costumes, music, and engaging performances. The experience provided students with an exciting introduction to live theater while reinforcing literacy skills such as storytelling, character development, and sequence of events.
The trip offered a wonderful opportunity for students to learn beyond the classroom, sparking imagination and creativity as they followed Dorothy and her friends on their journey down the Yellow Brick Road.
