The Willow Road Elementary School PTA proudly hosted a successful blood drive, uniting students, parents, staff, and community members in a shared effort to support local hospitals and patients in need of life-saving blood donations.
The event exemplified the school’s strong spirit of service and community connection. Dozens of donors came together throughout the evening, contributing to an important cause that directly benefits those in need across the region.
A special recognition goes to Willow Road’s “Little Doctors”, a dedicated group of student volunteers who played a vital role in making the blood drive a success. These young helpers assisted with organization, greeted donors, provided refreshments, and distributed thank-you cards to every participant. Their enthusiasm and compassion helped create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all who attended.
“The commitment and kindness our students showed during this event truly embody the values we strive to teach every day,” said Cindy Gervasi, Principal of Willow Road Elementary School. “Our Little Doctors demonstrated that even small acts of service can make a big difference.”
Willow Road Elementary School and its PTA extend heartfelt thanks to all donors and volunteers who contributed to the event’s success. Together they made a meaningful impact on the community, one donation at a time.
