On October 20th, Willow Road Elementary School hosted its annual Pumpkin Patch Event. Pumpkins were scattered across the school’s baseball field transforming the grounds into a bountiful pumpkin patch!
The fall festivity, sponsored by the PTA, allowed each student to wander around the school’s baseball field to choose their favorite pumpkin to take home and call their own. Before the pumpkin picking began, each class was shown a jar of candy corn and tasked with estimating how many pieces were inside – putting their estimation skills to task. The class that came closest won prizes and some Halloween treats! The festive autumn event is enjoyed by Willow Road students every school year!
